A compact 12.1-inch touchscreen monitor for acute care setting, built for easy operation, clear viewing, and patient comfort.
REDMOND, WA, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Fukuda Denshi USA, Inc. today announced the DYNASCOPE 2000 Series BDS-2100 System, a compact bedside monitor for acute care setting. With a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen and smartphone-like operation, the BDS-2100 puts everyday bedside monitoring right at the care team’s fingertips.
Key highlights
• Familiar touch operation: 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with drag-and-drop screen layout
• Clear viewing: 7-degree tilted display with optical bonding and anti-glare technology
• Comfort-minded NIBP: inflation-based measurement using designated settings and Fukuda cuffs
• Rhythm analysis: 28-type arrhythmia analysis, including AFib
“Hospitals keep telling us they need monitoring that’s simple to learn, simple to use, and fits where space is tight. The BDS-2100 delivers exactly that. When a monitor works the way clinicians expect, they spend less time on the screen and more time with their patients,” said Justin Criddle, Vice President of Sales at Fukuda Denshi USA.
The DynaGraphic Interface brings smartphone-like operation to the bedside. Drag and drop to arrange the initial screen layout, including measurement values and user keys, and choose from multiple layout patterns to suit different patient conditions and clinical environments. Up to five frequently used functions can be registered for quick access.
A 7-degree tilted display with optical bonding and anti-glare technology is designed to support clear viewing. Large numeric display options keep key measurements front and center, and an ergonomic handle supports carrying and repositioning the monitor.
The BDS-2100 supports inflation-based non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) measurement. Using designated device settings and Fukuda cuffs, the system can measure blood pressure as cuff pressure rises.
The monitor also provides 28-type arrhythmia analysis, including atrial fibrillation (AFib), to support cardiac rhythm assessment at the bedside.
