Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced today that two manufacturing companies are set to expand operations in Northern Michigan, a development expected to create a total of 128 new jobs and bring more than $42.9 million in new investment to the region.
The expansions involve Wausau Supply Co. and Cooper Standard, with each company contributing to the projected job growth and capital investment.
Wausau Supply Co. is undertaking an expansion in West Branch, located in Ogemaw County. This expansion is anticipated to add 92 jobs to its current workforce.
